The RanPak Guardian paper packaging converter quickly creates highly efficient packaging cushioning pads from 1 or 2-ply Kraft paper. Thanks to its patented fold and stitch process, these pads are extremely strong yet flexible, with outstanding void fill and shock-absorbency properties for protecting a wide range of products including industrial and automotive parts, sensitive electronic items and fragile goods.
The paper cushions are a first-class alternative to plastic packaging and can be used in shipping or storage boxes for bracing or wrapping objects of all shapes and sizes. You can choose from a range of packing paper, from virgin to recycled paper, all made from sustainable materials, 100% biodegradable and recyclable, and with proven superior cushioning values.
The Guardian’s technology offers a saving on material as it uses less paper than other techniques to create extremely reliable protective packaging with low paper shrinkage. It also boosts production and offers great flexibility in many different circumstances, with 3 speed settings for up to more than1.2m of pads per second, and five operation modes.
The PadPak Guardian is height-adjustable and available as a floor-stand or table-stand converter, weighing respectively 93kg and 89kg and measuring (width x depth x height) 61x110x163cm and 61x87x139cm. It is easy to manoeuvre where needed, and its compact size allows it to be placed even in tight corners.
The converter’s modular configuration ensures cost-effective and easier servicing with reduced machine downtime, as the 6 individual modules are simple to remove, assemble or replace. The packing paper is 38cm wide, with lengths of 300m for 90gsm paper and 180m for 70/70.
Ergonomically designed with adjustable working angles and a detachable 7inch touchscreen, this is a really user-friendly protective paper packaging machine – fast and flexible.
